Weekly Weigh-In: Ugh! Gained 1.8 pounds

Start: 327 lbs.
Last week: 249.6 lbs.
This week: 251.4 lbs.
Change: +1.8 lbs.
Total Change: -75.6 lbs

I guess I should have kept my mouth shut the other day when I was bragging that I hadn’t had a gain in almost three months.  Gaining isn’t too much of a surprise this week. For one, I had a big loss last week. The loss might not have been indicative of my weight loss for the week and this gain is the result of my body compensating for that. Or the more likely reason it’s not a surprise: I ate a whole damn pizza in less than 12 hours (half Friday night, half Saturday morning). I somewhat set out to splurge, and I definitely succeeded. I thought I’d be okay though since I walked the hell out of Eugene Friday & Saturday nights, and I had a pretty good workout Saturday afternoon. But that’s just how the cookie crumbles. I’m not really concerned about it since I know I will be good again next week.

Pre-Cruise Weigh-In: .6 pounds lost

Start: 327 lbs.
Last week: 254.6 lbs.
This week: 254.0 lbs.
Change: -0.6 lbs.
Total Change: -73.0 lbs

It’s not a lot, but it’s still losing. Off to get the party started! (Boy is it early…)

Total Change: -72.4 lbs

Still losing! This week I struggled a lot with eating. For whatever reason, I was hungry all the time. And I gave into those cravings a little bit. It sucks because I’ve reached a point now where I can’t really cheat on the eating part anymore. Oh well, still going strong at least!

Next week is the big trip to Mexico via international waters. I leave very early Friday and get back very late on Monday. I’m not 100% sure when I will do my weigh-in for next week. Probably Friday morning, but we’ll see.

I’ve been a little busy as of late, so I haven’t been able to do much in the way of posting. Hopefully that changes next month!

Today I crossed the 70 pounds lost threshold! I caught a bad head cold the other day, and I’m still getting over it. I’ve been able to keep walking for the most part, but I still haven’t added in yoga. We’ll get it.

My mom came up to visit me this weekend (well, she wanted to visit my aunts, too!). On Friday we went to the Duck Store, and she bought both of us new Duck shirts to wear to the game (as you can see pictured to the right). I got an XL, thinking that if it didn’t fit now it would eventually. I hardly ever do that. I put it on Saturday morning with some hesitation since it felt a little tight to me, but Michael and Aila assured me it looked good. The aunts and the mother dear agreed, and I must say I think I pulled it off looking at the photos!

Here’s hoping the next week doesn’t have a head cold in it!

Finally made it to the 250s! Still losing at a steady pace, and I’m hoping to pick it up here soon.  I’ve got two more weigh-ins until my cruise to Mexico in which to record some big losses.  This week has pretty much been more of the same.  I haven’t yet made yoga a habit, but we’ll get there eventually.  As long as I’m still shedding pounds I know I can do it.

I should also point out that it’s September 11th and that it’s been ten years since the Twin Towers fell.  Time sure has flown by.
